This Privacy Policy explains how Rigatta Client ("the App") collects, uses, and protects your information. The App is designed to track your position during sporting events and transmit this information to the specific server configured via an invitation link (Deeplink) or QR code provided by your event organizer.

1. Information Collection and Use

Precise Real-Time Location Information

The core functionality of the App is to transmit your geographic position (latitude, longitude, speed, and heading) to the event server configured in the App.

• Background Tracking: Developing an accurate track requires the App to collect location data even when the app is closed or not in use. This is necessary so that organizers and participants can monitor your position on the map throughout the event without requiring you to keep the screen on.
• Organized Tracking: Tracking is automated based on the event schedule provided by the server. It only activates during the designated tracking windows for the events you are registered for. You can also manually control the tracking state within the App.

Automatically Collected Information

The App may also collect certain information automatically, including the type of mobile device you use, your mobile devices' unique device ID, the IP address of your mobile device, and your mobile operating system. This information is used for technical support and to ensure proper communication with the event server.

Camera Usage

The App may request access to the device's camera if the user chooses to perform setup via a QR code. The camera is used solely for the purpose of scanning the configuration code for quick setup. If setup is performed via an invitation link (Deeplink), camera access is not required. The App does not store or transmit images or video from the camera.

2. Third-Party Access and Disclosure

We will share your information with third parties only in the ways described in this statement:

• Authorized Infrastructure: Data is sent only to the authorized server infrastructure configured via your organizer's setup (Deeplink or QR code).
• Legal Requirement: We may disclose information as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena or similar legal process, or when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights or your safety.
• No Commercial Sale: We do not sell, trade, or transfer your location data to outside advertisers or third parties for commercial purposes.

3. Data Retention and Managing Your Information

The App acts as a bridge. Configuration data is stored locally on your device. Historical location data is stored on the event server configured in your App. The retention policy for location data is determined by the administrator of your specific event server.

4. Opt-Out Rights

You can stop all collection of information by the Application easily by uninstalling the Application. You may use the standard uninstall processes available on your mobile device.

5. Children

Users under the age of 13 should only use the Application with the consent and supervision of a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly solicit data from children under 13 without such parental involvement in the initial setup of the device (via Deeplink or QR code). If a parent or guardian becomes aware that their child has provided information on an event server without consent, they should contact the event organizer to have the data removed.

6. Security

We are concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information and utilize industry-standard libraries and encrypted HTTPS transmission to protect your data.

7. Your Consent

By using the Application, you are consenting to our processing of your information as set forth in this Privacy Policy.

• Bakgrunnssporing: For å skape et nøyaktig spor samler appen inn posisjonsdata selv når appen er lukket eller ikke er i bruk. Dette er nødvendig for at arrangører og deltakere skal kunne se din posisjon på kartet gjennom hele arrangementet uten at du må ha skjermen på.
• Styrt sporing: Sporingen er automatisert basert på tidsplanen fra arrangøren. Den aktiveres kun i de definerte tidsvinduene for arrangementene du er påmeldt. Du kan også manuelt kontrollere sporingsstatusen i appen.

Teknisk informasjon som samles inn automatisk

Appen kan samle inn teknisk informasjon automatisk, inkludert type mobil enhet, enhetens unike ID, IP-adresse og operativsystem. Denne informasjonen brukes til teknisk støtte og for å sikre stabil kommunikasjon med event-serveren.

Bruk av Kamera

Appen kan be om tilgang til enhetens kamera dersom brukeren velger å utføre oppsett via en QR-kode. Kameraet brukes utelukkende til å skanne konfigurasjonskoden for raskt oppsett. Dersom oppsett utføres via en invitasjonslenke (Deeplink), er ikke kameratilgang nødvendig. Appen lagrer eller sender ikke bilder eller video fra kameraet.

2. Tilgang for tredjeparter og utlevering

Vi deler informasjonen din med tredjeparter kun på følgende måter:

• Autorisert infrastruktur: Data sendes kun til den autoriserte server-infrastrukturen som er konfigurert via arrangørens oppsett (Deeplink eller QR-kode).
• Lovpålagte krav: Vi kan utlevere informasjon dersom det er påkrevd ved lov, for eksempel ved rettslige pålegg, eller når vi i god tro mener at utlevering er nødvendig for å beskytte våre rettigheter eller din sikkerhet.
• Ingen kommersielt salg: Vi selger, bytter eller overfører ikke posisjonsdataene dine til eksterne reklameaktører eller tredjeparter for kommersielle formål.

3. Lagring og sletting av data

Appen fungerer som en bro. Konfigurasjonsdata lagres lokalt på din enhet. Historisk posisjonsdata lagres på event-serveren som er konfigurert i appen. Reglene for hvor lenge disse dataene lagres bestemmes av administratoren for den spesifikke serveren.

4. Rett til å trekke samtykke

Du kan enkelt stoppe all innsamling av informasjon ved å avinstallere appen. Bruk standardmetoden på din telefon for å fjerne appen.

5. Barns personvern

Brukere under 13 år skal kun bruke applikasjonen med samtykke og under tilsyn av en forelder eller foresatt. Vi samler ikke bevisst inn data fra barn under 13 år uten slik foreldreinvolvering ved første gangs oppsett av enheten (via Deeplink eller QR-kode). Dersom en forelder eller foresatt blir klar over at deres barn har gitt informasjon på en event-server uten samtykke, bør de kontakte arrangøren for å få dataene fjernet.

6. Sikkerhet

Vi er opptatt av å beskytte konfidensialiteten til informasjonen din og bruker bransjestandard biblioteker og kryptert HTTPS-overføring for å sikre dine data.
